outbid.lol alternatives, compared honestly

What else exists, what it costs, and the case for not bidding on any of them.

Why people look for one

Search traffic for outbid.lol alternatives comes from two very different places, and the right answer depends entirely on which one you are.

  • Builders who want to run a board like it. There are already well over a hundred, so the interesting question is no longer how to build one — it is what could make a new one worth visiting. Our answer is at how this board is built, source and all.
  • Buyers deciding where to spend a marketing budget. If that is you, the honest answer is that the board matters far less than whether it currently has an audience. Skip to the arithmetic below.

The boards

Ordered by how established each one is, not by preference. Prices are deliberately absent: entry cost on every one of these changes with each bid, so any figure here would be wrong within a day while still reading as authoritative.

BoardRanking ruleWhat it is
outbid.lolHighest cumulative bidThe board that started the format, launched 19 August 2026. Largest cumulative bid takes #1; a smaller bid lands wherever it reaches. The only one of these with a demonstrated traffic spike behind it. If a board is going to return clicks, it is still the most likely candidate.
kickbid.lolThis siteHighest cumulative bidThis board. Same core mechanic, plus a rolling 24-hour board, 28 separately ranked categories, and per-listing click counts shown publicly. Working out whether the trade paid off. Every listing publishes what it spent and how many clicks it received, so cost per click is checkable rather than asserted.
lowbid.lolNot independently checkedLowest unique bidInverts the format: the lowest unique bid takes the top spot rather than the highest. Anyone who finds pure bidding tilted toward whoever has the most money. The inversion makes it a game of guessing rather than of budget.
overbid.lolNot independently checkedHighest cumulative bidA straight highest-bid board in the same shape as the original. Little differentiates it mechanically. Judge it purely on whether it is currently sending traffic.
outoutbid.lolNot independently checkedDirectory of boardsA directory of sites copying outbid.lol, itself ranked by who paid the most to appear in it. Seeing the size of the wave at a glance. More useful as a census than as a placement.
outbid.fyiNot independently checkedDirectory of boardsAn index of pay-to-rank boards, grouped by what each one ranks. Finding a board narrow enough that your product is not competing with everything.
topple.lolNot independently checkedEditorial / reviewWrites reviews of the bidding boards rather than running one. Published an early assessment of whether an outbid.lol spot was worth paying for. A second opinion from someone not selling you a listing.

The arithmetic that actually decides it

Choosing between boards on features is the wrong exercise. They all do the same thing. The only number that separates them is cost per click, and you can compute it before you pay:

  • Find the click count on the listings already sitting where you want to sit. If the board does not publish click counts, you cannot price a bid on it and should treat it as an unknown rather than a bargain.
  • Divide the bid it would take to hold that position by the clicks you expect over the next month — not over a year. Board traffic follows a launch curve.
  • Compare that number against what the same visitor costs you on paid search. If it is worse, the interesting placement is the cheap one further down the board, not the top.

The thing nobody selling you a listing will say

A board's traffic curve is not transferable. outbid.lol got roughly a million visitors in two days because it was first and it was novel. Neither of those properties is available to anything launched afterward, including this one. The correct expectation for any board other than the original is a small fraction of that, and the correct bid reflects it.

What we did differently

Not better — differently, and only in ways that can be checked. Rank is derived from an append-only payment ledger rather than stored, so the board can show a rolling 24-hour ranking alongside the all-time one. There are 28 separately ranked categories, so a listing that is 40th overall can lead the one it actually competes in. Every listing publishes its click count, which is what makes the arithmetic above possible on this board and impossible on most of the others.

The full ranking rules are on the rules page, generated from the same constants the code enforces, so the published version cannot drift from the behaviour.
